AIVD course memories

Artificial Intelligence and Game Design is a course I really enjoyed.

From this course, I learned how to use github and lofter, which are great tools to show what I have done and Arduino, which I knew nothing before this course. First time understanding how Github works is a tough job. So is Arduino, but is somewhat easier.

I made my first board game and did the play-testing , learning to follow the iteration pattern. This course also had guest speakers, showing me what the game industry and game designing process are like, and I learned a lot about game making.

Another important fact is that this course uses a different teaching pattern from schools in China. I really loved this style. An inspiring part is what Garry(am I spelling right?) told us, the learning curve of two different approaches. It encouraged me to develop my own way of learning.

So this is a unique experience. I want to thank Sherol Chen ,my instructor for your effort to balance this class with experienced programmers and someone who had never programmed before. And "If you don't have a reason not to do it, why not do it?" is a great sentence you taught us. I also want to thank all the  TAs for your hard work of preparing for the system and fixing terrible skype connection :D TAs are reliable source of help.
